Anelya & Beka | Maternity Shoot | Millenium Park| Chicago, IL
Maternity , June 17, 2015
A grand adventure is about to begin…
When Anelya asked me to photograph her maternity session I was a bit hesitant (videography and photography are two different animals), however, I decided to take on the challenge and try to capture something using a medium I don’t typically choose to use.
We started the shoot at the Art Institute of Chicago, the gardens there offer such a romantic European atmosphere that I thought would help to offer a great touch for this Eastern European couple. Chicago is a city that offers so much diversity in terms of light and people, however, it also has incredible refined taste with it’s beautiful architecture and landscapes. The buildings that surround Millennium Park provides this great feeling of being part of big city, flocked with tourists and locals, yet it also offers a tranquil environment alongside the gorgeous lake Michigan.
We of course had to also take a photo in front of the infamous Bean (Cloud Gate), which of course was entirely crowded with selfie lovers alike, we took the unexpected corner that offered a great reflection of surrounding buildings and patiently waited for a (somewhat) clear opportunity.
I had so much fun photographing these two! They’re love was so sweet and beautifully present throughout the whole session.
